Dave Nelson is a senior advisor at Wise Rhino Group. His career in financial services reaches back nearly four decades and includes successful stints as president of a large independent broker/dealer’s registered investment advisor, director of investments for a large mutual fund company’s retirement platform, AIM’s first SMA wholesaler and senior vice-president and divisional director with Calamos.

He also co-authored the College of Financial Planning’s first mutual fund due diligence manual and has written several practice management how-to booklets for financial advisors.  He received a BA and MBA from the University of Denver and holds the CIMC, CIMA and CAIA designations.  He currently lives in Fairhope, AL.
